Mommy and Marley- Happy Fourth

Marley went on her first VACATION! We had a blast! My mother moved to Texas so we decided to go and visit. We went to the aquarium, beach, Austin and saw the fireworks display over the ocean- it was beautiful. Marley did pretty good away from home. She didn't sleep well the first few nights, but other than that she had so much fun and had constant attention. She is basically repeating everything now. When we tell her NO... she tells us NO back. It was cute at first but now we are trying to undo the bad habit.

POOL

We has so much fun today watching Marley play in her pool. She was splashing water EVERYWHERE. She would get out and when she tried to get back in she would fall. It took a few times of doing this before she eventually got it down. Shorty came over and got a drink a couple of times. After being outside for thirty minutes we decided to wrap it up, but Marley wasn't ready.... she cried and cried until she fell asleep.

I see that wink!!!
Its been about a month since my last blog. Since then Marley had tubes put in her ears and they seem to be working well. The procedure took about 10 minutes and we could tell she was already feeling better later that day. This past week Marley started saying her ABC's.... we couldn't believe it! She can say A-I. She can basically repeat or try and repeat what you are saying to her. She has been eating like crazy! She loves guacamole, hummas, watermelon and waffles. So far there is nothing that she won't eat- she must get that from her mom.
Its so funny, my mother gave her a baby doll and she will put it in her grocery cart and push it around the house... I guess we need to buy her a stroller.
I took her to Chris's house to swim in the pool and she loved the water. She didn't want to get in her floaty, but as long as I was holding her she was fine. She splashed and splashed. I would put her out to "test"the water and she just kicked and kicked around in the water, it was so adorable!

LONG TIME....

Look at that adorable smile!!!
Marley with her daddy Marley and Mommy on Mothers Day
I LOVE this picture!
Look at that curly hair!
Okay, it has been forever since my last blog. Since Marley has started daycare, we have ALL been sick. Marley has had an ear infection for almost a month now so we are taking her to see an ENT on Monday. Looks like she may have to get tubes. She can identify her nose, eyes, mouth, hair and belly. She also shakes her head now and says NO. Her new thing is giving a high five. She will put her hand up and giggle with excitement when we ask for one- its the cutest thing. Her favorite snacks are Gerbers yogurt bites... she literally knows the BAG. She will put her hand out and ask for a BITE. Also, her sixth tooth is trying to push through right now. She will have 4 top teeth and 2 on the bottom.

Marley's One Year Photo's

Aren't these pictures awesome! Well Marley's first week of daycare was ok and the second week NOT so well. She was bitten by a little girl one day, scratched the next and now has an ear infection. She is having bad seperation anxiety. Marley has always loved attention but now she craves it. I am praying that things start to get better. Being a working mother is so hard. I have contemplated on whether or not I should work and then realized that it is not an option.

What is this??

Happy Easter everyone! Marley had her one year photo's taken this weekend and they are amazing!- Kerry you are awesome!!!! I have only seen a few and as soon as I can post them I will. On Saturday my mother and I took her to the zoo. There were so many animals out, I guess because the weather was so nice. Marley kept putting her hand out to touch the animals....I think her favorite were the giraffes. There were two of them and they were kissing and loving on each other- it was beautiful. Of course Marley thinks everything is a dog right now so all the animals were DOGS! Today was Easter and we didn't do much. Papaw and Grammy came over with an Easter basket and we had lunch- Marley enjoyed ham and deviled eggs.
Marley is starting Kids Academy tomorrow. I am so nervous right now. I know she will be fine, but I don't want her to think I am leaving her. I'm sure I will be crying ALL day long. My mom is going to pick her up early and I think I am going to go with her. I still can't believe she is going to daycare.
